Vestkantbadet (Sommerro)
Frogner, Oslo, Norway
One of Norway's last remaining public baths, opened in 1932 beneath the former Oslo Lysverker electrical company headquarters and designed by architects Bjerke and Eliassen; following a five-year restoration it reopened in 2023 as the largest city-hotel wellness space in the Nordics, preserving its protected Art Deco interior and Per Krohg's iconic 1930s mosaic wall alongside a modern thermotherapy circuit.
