Othership Williamsburg

Othership Williamsburg is the brand's Brooklyn site, at 25 Kent Avenue. It follows the same format as Othership's other clubs: a performance sauna heated to as much as 85°C, eight ice baths kept at 0–4°C, a tea room and a Social Commons for gathering between rounds. The interiors were designed with the Futurestudio practice, and trade press has described the fit-out in detail, though Othership's own page gives no dimensions.

Sessions are guided or self-paced. In a guided class, a facilitator leads guests through sauna and ice-bath stages, while Free Flow lets first-timers move at their own speed with one-to-one support from a guide. The suggested starter circuit is 15 to 20 minutes in the heat, one to three in the cold, then ten minutes of rest, repeated. Changing is in non-gendered stalls with lockers, towels are included, and the space beyond is barefoot. Visits are sold singly, in packs or as monthly memberships, and the club hosts private events.

It suits people who want a regular, social heat-and-cold routine close to home. It is not for anyone under 18, and guests with heart conditions, blood-pressure problems or a history of fainting are asked to use the facilities only with a doctor's approval. There is no designated parking, so plan to arrive on foot or by transit.
