Esplanade Tergesteo

Esplanade Tergesteo is a five-star hotel on Via Roma in Montegrotto Terme, one of the spa towns at the foot of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, about 15 minutes by car from Padua. Thermal water runs through the stay. A large indoor thermal pool connects to the outdoor White Pool, kept at about 35–36°C, and the H2O3 pool adds ozone micro-bubbles to thermal water. The Emotion Zone, open from age 14, has a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath with thermal vapours, a Kneipp path and an ice waterfall. RoofTop54, for guests aged 16 and over, has a saltwater pool facing the hills, a textile-free panoramic Finnish sauna with Aufguss sessions, an infrared sauna and a cold plunge pool.

The Well54 Wellness Centre is built around the local thermal mud, matured in the area's salt-bromine-iodine water. Mud therapy begins with a medical admission examination, and a cycle can be taken under Italy's national health service with a doctor's referral. Osteopathy, physiotherapy and water-based exercise are bookable, alongside Ayurveda-inspired massage and facials by Sothys and Ligne St. Barth.

Longevity programmes for weight loss, anti-ageing and detox run from six to ten nights. Each combines a specialist consultation with tests such as body-composition, DNA and HRV stress analysis and, depending on the programme, a nutrition plan, mud treatments and functional training.

Children can stay in the hotel; non-residents aged 14 and over can book day access to the pools and spa. It suits guests who want a thermal-mud cure or a structured programme within reach of Padua and Venice.
