A Tuscan-style palace in the hills above the Costa del Sol, hung with some 1,200 works of art and ringed by three golf courses. The draw for wellness is the Thermal Spa, which runs to over 2,000 sqm: Roman-style thermal baths, a hammam using sea salt, three steam rooms, Finnish and Greek saunas, a laconium, a flotarium, a dynamic heated pool and a contrast pool, with treatment rooms alongside. Programmes are structured across three tiers and run by physiotherapists and personal trainers, combining nutrition and aqua therapy; there is a detox and weight track built on Mediterranean diet and thermal circuits, and a golf-specific physiotherapy programme aimed at injury prevention. Named Spain's best spa at the World Spa Awards in 2019. The spa circuit is sold to non-residents by the day. This is a golf and events resort with a serious Thermal Spa attached rather than a retreat — there are nine meeting rooms and a kids' club, and the wellness runs alongside all of it.
