Amangiri

A 25,000 sq ft desert spa set within 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, its 34 suites and Camp Sarika's ten tented pavilions overlooking Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Treatments open with a Navajo-inspired sage smudging ceremony and Greenthread tea, followed by journeys drawing on earth, wind, fire and water, including the signature Grounding Journey (body scrub, full-body massage and a 45-minute Shirodhara scalp treatment) and Yoga on the Rocks, a guided session atop a desert butte with 360° views; a three-day detoxification programme was developed in collaboration with tennis champion Novak Djokovic.
